Los Angeles-based Felicia's LLC debuts Flower Girl & Special Occasion collection for girls' sizes 4-8

LOS ANGELES, CA October 25, 2011 - Introducing Love Jay Girls; a collection of flower girl and special occasion dresses, size 4 through 8, that are as vibrant and refreshing as the dynamic women who ventured to pioneer it. Each dress has it's own unique personality, making it suitable for any type of wedding or special occasion, while always embodying the light and playful spirit that serves as the inspiration for the line. Love Jay Girls’ wish to have each flower girl feel as beautiful as the bride she'll be representing, which will no doubt ignite dreams of her own lovely gala at such a young, imaginative age. Love Jay Girls is the first division to branch out of Felicia’s LLC, formed in March 2011. Operating out of Los Angeles, CA, Love Jay Girls is co-owned by long-time friends Shana Cutler & Rebecca Gold.  Since first grade, they’ve known that their attraction to fashion would evolve into much more than just a hobby.  Their intuition was spot on and after years of working for high-end clothing companies, including bridal designer Ines Di Santo, Shana and Rebecca decided it was time to put their experience, knowledge, and innate fashion senses into developing their “dream company”. This defining decision to create their own collection was accelerated in June 2009, following the untimely passing of Shana’s mother, Felicia, and Rebecca’s boyfriend, Jay. Left with broken hearts and a loss of direction, these young women refused to succumb to their vulnerabilities and instead turned these tragic events into unexpected inspiration.

Today, Shana and Rebecca drive full speed ahead with the plan to fill in a much needed gap in the children’s market.  “As times are changing, children are developing styles of their own early-on. We saw an opportunity to bring more fashion-forward designs to young girls, allowing them to express themselves through the conduit of fashion“ says Rebecca Gold.

“We found a way to create a collection that perfectly blends the innocence of a child’s heart, the energy and excitement my Mother carried, and Jay’s exuberance for life,” adds Shana Cutler.
