Blogger - Bee's Mom

Every woman can remember a time in her life when her mother said something to the effect of "just wait till you have kids!"  And until you do, you don't quite understand what they meant by that statement or even the concept of being a parent.  Having a doll like Baby Alive doesn't mimic the real thing now does it?

When I had a baby girl in May 2009 it was like my whole life started anew, this time with parenting goggles on.  Whatever I did from that point on I had to take her into account - vacations, going out with friends, even what time I would go to sleep and get up in the morning would depend on her schedule and needs.

And now that my husband and I are parents there's a whole new (shopping) world that has opened up to us.  From clothes and accessories to toys and gear, Bee's world is filled with all sorts of stuff I never knew about.  Some items are parenting must-haves aden+anais swaddling cloths while others are really just for the fun of it Belle Ame newborn pettiskirt.

Through Mama Said I plan to review a variety of baby and kid products that we use at home as well as products our friends with kids use.  As Bee gets older, her needs and wants change (and so do ours).  This blog is intended to give you, dear reader, an accurate view of what a real mom and baby use, what our likes and dislikes are regarding a variety of products, as well as my thoughts on various parenting experiences.
