...The sides don't slide down.

While I'm a fan of the classic spindle cribs, I wanted something modern for Bee.  A mommy friend of a friend warned me not to get a crib that had stationery sides but I didn't listen and part of me wished I did.

I love the crib we ordered but I'm short and even with the mattress at the highest level I have a little bit of difficulty getting her in the crib, especially when she's sleeping and I want to put her down without waking her.  I'm just imaging how much harder it will be to get her in and out as she get older and the mattress gets lower so she can't pull herself up and over.

At this point there's nothing to do.  I'm not replacing the crib.  But I know that I can convert it to a toddler bed and the next crib I buy will have sides that slide down.

We ordered a Netto Cub crib from Giggle.
