Talk about convenient. For a parent shopping with an antsy kid or two in tow, a new smartphone application could be a dream come true. Cambridge, MA-based children's retailer Magic Beans has partnered with AisleBuyer for the launch of the first-ever mobile self-checkout iphone application. No more waiting in line with this new technology. Shoppers can scan products and complete their purchases using only a smartphone. The application also offers product information and reviews and provides shoppers with coupons typically only available to online shoppers. AisleBuyer CEO says: "the goal is to combine the best features from online shopping with the in-store experience." www.mbeans.com; www.aislebuyer.com Known for its hip belts, bags and bracelets, Rockin Robin has added hair accessories. Look for trendy headbands featuring fun details, including bows, flowers, studs and chains. www.rockinrobinbelts.com Heard: Actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are looking to launch a children's clothing line, which would benefit the couple's foundation for humanitarian causes. Pitt reportedly was already in Italy sealing a manufacturing deal. Considering the recent musings of Jolie regarding the style choices of daughter Shiloh, this development doesn't seem far-fetched. Papparazzi favorites, the older Jolie-Pitt children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh – each seem to reflect their own personal style when seen out and about. Not hard to imagine an eclectic but wearable kids' collection from this globetrotting celebrity family. |
